Caravan

Caravan pledges
At the beginning of each meeting, scouts say the pledges to the American flag, the Christian flag and the Bible.

Caravan meets during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is for children in 1st through 6th grades. The evening begins with everyone together for announcements, a devotional and prayer then they break into classes by age. Each week, through their books and hands-on experience, students learn about various things that eventually earns them badges. As they earn their badges and progress in their classes, they move up to the next levels. Throughout the year there are additional events for them (and their families) to participate in like the annual spaghetti dinner, award and promotions ceremonies, cookouts and the annual end-of-school camp-out on Lake of the Ozarks.
